We didn’t create this process, but we loved it so much that we adopted it.

We have a simple 3 phase process for anyone to get connected to LOVE. It is SIMPLE and SEQUENTIAL.

THE PATH AT LOVE:

We break it down into 101, 201 and 301. It is preferred that you go through each step. This is our connection process at LOVE. We have 3 STEPS every new person at LOVE needs to take.

You have the FIRST STEP, NEXT STEP and BIG STEP.

FIRST STEP : 101

A monthly gathering at LOVE of all newcomers interested in hearing more about LOVE AME Church. This is an opportunity to sit with the pastor and others in a small group setting. Pastor Valdes will share the vision of Love AME Church and welcome you to the church.

We host it once a month on a Sunday after our Morning Worship Experience.

NEXT STEP: 201

After attending our FIRST STEP 101, you will then need to sign up for 201. 201 involves our INTRODUCTIONS and ACTION Steps. You will learn about all of our church teams and a minister will share the many ways you can get involved. This class is held monthly.

You can always sign up in our Sanctuary to serve on a monthly rotating team at any time. We will follow up with an email to help you get connected to a SERVE team.

BIG STEP: 301

After you have attended FIRST STEP 101 and connected to serve (201) then you are able to attend a Membership Class (BIG STEP 301) where you will learn about the history of both Love AME Church and the AME Denomination. This class is held monthly.

JOIN THE LOVE TEAM

Now that you have become a member, we will have special leadership training sessions called LOVE TEAM SESSIONS. These sessions are for members.

This is your BIG step at LOVE.
